Adi Sappir is a cellist, vocalist and composer who hails originally from Israel but is now based in Melbourne, Australia.

In her debut album: Under the Clocks, Adi combines classical music elements with the exotic tunes and rhythms of traditional music from Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.

Since 2003 Adi joined forces with seasoned musicians guitarist/singer Mark Ferrie and guitarist Andrew Pendlebury to form the Mercurials.
